The ESPEC ENX / EWS family of climate chambers has been specially designed to perform highly demanding photovoltaic (PV) environmental testing. This series includes chambers with capacities from 1.5 to 8 m3, which allows testing panels up to 2000 mm in length. The ENX and EWSX models can be used for all three climate test panels:
- Test 10.11 – Thermal Cycles,
- Test 10.12 – Humidity Freeze,
- Test 10.13 – Damp Heat 85 °C / 85 %RH.
In some cases when is demanded of faster achieving or test results, more convenient could be using more of one chamber. Due to the fact that available are versions ENL/EWSL which are designed only to long terms tests with high humidity (85 °C / 85 %RH), which is economically justified, because mentioned chambers has a low energy consumptiuon.
Chambers are designed both in terms capacity of test chamber and the effeciancy of the refrigeration systems allowing keeping the climatic parameters, so possible whould be testing of next types of PV modules:
- ENX48 series – 8 modules with dimmensions 1 x 0.9 m,
- ENX112 series – 12 modules with dimmensions 1,7 x 1 m,
- EWSX282 series – 20 modules with dimmensions 2 x 1,7 m.
Features
Basic features:
- Test chamber and housing is made from stainless steel,
- Dimensions of test chamber was selected to typical dimensions of photovoltaic modules,
- Climatic parameters – temperature, relative humidity and speed of temperature changes are complied to the IEC and UL standards,
- Possibilities of selecting the capacity of the refrigeration systems during temperature changes – for each chamber with selected volume, according to needs and situations selected laboratory, the capacity of refrigeration system can be setted. Chambers with higher cooling capacity allows to testing of more count of samples in shorter time. In chambers with lower cooling capacity, tests last longer, but costs of exploatations are lower.
- Microprocessor controler with touch screen display LCD,
- Possibility of controlling the temperature using the temperature of sample,
- Viewing window in chamber doors,
- Cable ports in side walls.
